EWI to a modern glass office block?

The sleek modern Glass design mixed of Greengate in central Manchester included brilliant white insulated and rendered soffit to the large entrance area. An EWI system including cement particle board and hanging SFS framework.

The challenging project involved structural design and installation of the hanging rail SFS system to form the base for the insulated system. Work was carried out on large scissor lifts to the required height of 12 metres.

The mid installation picture shows the cement particle board being installed to the metal frame. GPD provided the metal frame, cement particle board and Knauf EWI system. The work was carried out for Prater Ltd in 2016.
