8th January 2020After commencing works in spring, the Crowngate project in Worcester’s city centre has been completed. We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to help deliver this exciting development within our home city, with has been earmarked for rejuvenation for some time.
The facade which was designed by multinational architects Chapman Taylor returns a historic feel to this area of the city. Crown Estates, who own the shopping centre, commissioned ADI Group to deliver the renovation works.
Working with the aforementioned companies, we supplied and installed the non-combustible EWI system by STO Ltd.
The systems provided by STO provided two significant solutions to the project. Their mineral wool EWI system delivered a major increase to the thermal performance of the building. This will see a reduction in energy bills for commercial and domestic tenants alike.
The second feature provided by STO involved the use of Deco profiles, used to create the heritage style design of the facade, the results of which can be seen below.
