Replacement of 1st generation EWI to a local authority housing complex in Hereford. The original installation was completed 10 years ago; however the timber frame construction unfortunately encountered severe condensation and damp issues throughout.

We were pleased to work with EG Carter on the scheme, which involved around 800 sqr metres of replacement works over three phases. The contract involved the complete removal and replacement of the timber frame EWI system including feature Aluminium Cills & flashings.

The package also involved close liaison with Wetherby, to correct faulty detailing in the original installation.

Aluminium flashings and curved fabrications were detailed by GPD and fabricated by DA Fabrications.
