Weber MT Silicone Render system has been supplied and installed at Coventry’s new swimming pool at Alan Higgs Leisure Complex in Coventry.

GPD were pleased to work with main contractors Galliford Try.

The complicated project consisted of nearly 1000m2 of the Weber Render system, Cementitious Render board & a fully sealed FoamGlass Insulated elevation on to a metal frame construction.

The scheme included a number of technical specifications that increased the complexity of the installation. Largely associated with the ‘Environmental wall’ which provides a fully sealed elevation, acting as a crucial atmospheric barrier between the swimming pool and public areas.

Public areas include, gymnasium’s, locker rooms, cycling, aerobic suites & cafe’s. Careful sealing of all penetrations and abutments was carried out to provide air & vapour seal. Further to this, a 20mm provision was included for the movement.
